Itinerary

Upon your arrival in Hanoi, the first destination in your Vietnam Cambodia Laos honeymoon tour! Being renown as the capital and cultural city of Vietnam, Hanoi offers plentiful experiences and exciting activities. 

Upon arriving, you will be greeted by your local tour guide and travel to hotel in Hanoi for check-in. Balance of the day is at leisure to get off jet lag.

This morning will be free and easy on your own. In the afternoon, you will sightsee Tran Quoc Pagoda which is the oldest one in Hanoi dating back the 6th century. The pagoda situates peacefully on an peninsula on West Lake, the biggest lake of Hanoi receiving nice breeze from the lake and shadow of big buddha trees. Next, you will meander along elegant Thanh Nien road with greenish tree lines along till reaching Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum. This is a complex of the Mausoleum where house the body of Ho Chi Minh President. Vietnamese government went against his will to burn and scatter his bone ash in three regions of Vietnam; instead asked the help of Soviet Union sharing embalming technique. Besides, you will have chance to see the Presidential Palace and One Pillar Pagoda appearing special like a lotus flower on the pond. Lately, you will visit Hanoi Old Quarter, enjoy Hanoi street food walking tour venturing around narrow streets and sample sumptuous dishes of Vietnam like Vietnamese Bread, Noodle soup, steamed caked stuffed with minced pork and ear mushroom, etc. and have a local drink of either local beer or a Vietnamese coffee or both.

In the morning, you will travel and meet with the host who escort you to the local market in Hanoi where you can behold the local buying style and select fresh cooking ingredients. Back to the cooking venue, when get ready, you will hand on preparing some of Vietnamese dishes, mixing a perfectly balance dipping sauces, create some simple food decorations. Then, enjoy lunch of all dishes that you just finished. Farewell with your host, you will get back to your hotel. Rest of the day will be on your own leisure. 

In the morning, check-out hotel and head 170km (105 miles) to the East of Hanoi for Halong Bay renown as the place of Descending dragons. Arriving at noon, you will embark the Halong Bay overnight cruise and sail to its center passing by thousands of big and small karst islands. Enjoy lunch with breeze from the ocean of verdant emerald water and picturesque scenes of Halong Bay. The top deck is the ideal places for you to capture the idyllic Halong Bay’s landscape. Following with boat’s itinerary, you will discover the dried cave with a hike, then the water lagoons by kayaking or traditional wooden boat. You also have chance to swim on Halong Bay from a small island with sandy beach. After your cozy dinner, you can try your luck with squid fishing and chill on boat. 

Early in the morning, when the sun just comes up, you are invited to wake up and practice Tai Chi exercise with the instructor on boat. After breakfast, the boat will keep sailing for your further enjoy of the beautiful islands on Halong Bay. Till noon, you will travel back to mainland and get off the boat. Head to airport for your late afternoon flight to Da Nang. When arrive, you will meet up with your local tour guide and take private transfer from Da Nang airport to Hoi An town.

In the morning, you will hop on the bicycle and explore the atmospheric and cultural Hoi An town. Call in at the Hoi An Old Town which is close to the old seaport town for commercial trading activities. This UNESCO Heritage Site is intriguing with the blend of Chinese and Japanese architecture and culture. There are relics of old houses, pottery and silk museum, the Fujian communal house, Japanese bridge and so on. After wandering through the corners of Hoi An Ancient town, you will pedal through tranquil countryside of Hoi An and find Tra Que Village.

When arrive, take a walk around the host’s large gardens and learn on diverse types of herbs and vegetable plants. Take part in farming works like watering the plants, ploughing the land or seedling. Next off, you will try cooking the Vietnamese Banh Xeo or sizzling cakes. Spreading a layer of rice batter on a small pan, shaking it slightly to create a thin layer of coat; flapping it over and adding ingredients and fold it half then the cake is ready on table. After lunch, you will have a break, enjoy foot massage and then return to hotel in Hoi An midafternoon.

Late evening, travel to a nicely setting restaurant for a romantic dinner on private bamboo raft on river with lavish dinner. Being away from busy streets, you are having your own chilling dinner on raft with flowers and candles. 

Enjoy free and easy time on your own to chill-out at hotel or getting around Hoi An Town. There are many exciting activities that you might be interested in such as tasting local cuisine, buy handicrafts, leather bags and shoes or high quality suits. Or else, you might get to the beach in Hoi An for relaxation. 

This morning, you will check-out and have private transfer from your Hoi An to Da Nang Airport for the flight to the next destination of your Indochina honeymoon tour - Ho Chi Minh City. This city is a vibrant and developed place with plentiful fun activities and romatic places for honeymooners to hang over. 

Upon your arriving at airport in Ho Chi Minh City, you will see your local tour guide and travel to hotel in Ho Chi Minh City.

Today you will have a full day exploring places to visit in Ho Chi Minh City and its nearby places. Travel by land from Ho Chi Minh City to Cu Chi Tunnels and learn some of Vietnamese history. Before coming down to probe the tunnels, you can watch the documentaries for a brief of history during the war time. Cu Chi Tunnels were dig by Viet Minh Troop during the war against French Colonial; and the work then carry on to be expanded during Vietnam War making then tunnle's total length up to 200km (124 mikes) and around 3 to 4 meters deep. There, you can find the main amenities like sleeping room, meeting room, weapon closet, kitchen, clinics, etc.

In the afternoon, set off to visit iconic attractions of Ho Chi Minh City: Nortre Dame Cathedral, the Old Post Office, Dong Khoi Walking Street and then have some chilling out at bar on the Bitexco Tower (drink will be on your own cost for flexibility).

After breakfast at hotel, you will a full day excursion to Mekong Delta today. Meet up with your tour guide and have a land drive for around 2 hours to Cai Be, one of main town of Mekong delta situating along Mekong Rivers and its estuaries. Board a local boat and sail from Cai Be to the pristine authentic region of Vinh Long. The boat trip will reveal greenish land of fruit orchards, farming plantations; and offer plenty of chances to interact with villagers, eat tropical fruits from their gardens, and learn more about the lifestyle of local people.

Have lunch at local house with yummy local delicacies; you then will travel back to Cai Be by boat and go back Ho Chi Minh City. Rest of the day will be free and easy. 

At leisure till transfer to Airport in Ho Chi Minh City for your flight to Siem Reap, the most highlighted and a must-to-see province of Cambodia. This inspiring province opens a way to entry timeless Angkor temples, the gigantic Tonle Sap Lake and challenging peak of Kulen Mountain and dozens of biodiversity creatures.

Your local tour guide will welcome you at Siem Reap Airport and take you to hotel for check-in.

Today you will explore one of the most outstanding place in your Vietnam Cambodia Laos tour package which are myterious Angkor Temples. Travel on shadowy roads of ancient trees and head to Angkor archeological park where housing the unique Angkor Temples. While the main tourist streams are focusing on the core area, you will head to Ta Prohm Temple which is almost embraced by the massive roots of hundred years old big trees. This temple is also renown by the movie “The tomb raider” with the participating of actress Angela Jolie. Then move to Angkor Wat, the largest and most significant temple of all. Opposite to the rest temples, Angkor Wat’s entrance is from the West. Far from apart, you will realize Angkor Wat Temple with 3 rising sharp towers. Indeed, there are total five towers of which the highest in the middle one is 65 meters high. In the afternoon, you will get to the Terrace of Elephant and Terrace of Leper Kings; from where entering the jungle and unveil more temples. Visit the ruin temple of Baphuon since 11th century; then Bayon Temple of emerging towers like a chaos with mysterious smiling faces everywhere. There are 54 huge towers with 4 facets each that come with Buddha faces observing toward four directions and the guardian on the Angkor Thom. Coming out at the south gate which is the best preserve one, you finish the exploration of the best Angkor Temples; meet your driver and travel back to hotel in Siem Reap.

This morning, travel around 30 km (19 miles) out of the downtown, you will catch the sight of rural villages of Siem Reap province with sugar palm parks, rice fields and the amicable countryside. Arriving at Bong Thom Village, you can intermingle with the hospitable locals and participate in making the local breakfast, traditional sticky rice snacks and bamboo sticky rice. You also visit the village where there are sugar palm stalls to behold the processing of palm sugar; making handicrafts from the leaf of sugar palm.

After lunch of local culinary, you will travel to Banteay Srei, a unique pink sandstone temple and sophisticate carving and ornates patterns. Afterward, head back to Siem Reap center and relax on your own.

At leisure till having private transfer to Siem Reap Airport and fly to Luang Prabang, an exotic and appealing town in the northern Laos. As the ancient capital of country, Luang Prabang showcase country's quintessence in almost aspect of culture, architecture, religion, cuisine, handicraft, etc. 

Upon your arrival, you will see your local tour guide in Luang Prabang, and have private transfer from airport to hotel in the town.

Getting to the UNESCO Heritage town Luang Prabang this morning, you will stop at Wat Mai once the royal shrine. This is one of the very well decorated temple in Luang Prabang with black and red lacquer and shiny golden decorative patterns. From Wat Mai, walk along the streets of colonial style houses to reach Royal Palace which was the royal family’s residence constructed with both cultural Laos and colonial architectures. Along with depression of monarchy in Laos in 1975, royal palace was no longer the home for King and Royal family; then in use as the National Museum. The museum holds the some of the finest arts of Laos, exhibitions on the royal life, the sacred buddha statue, precious items as well as dozens of presents from other nations.

Make another pleasant walk along the mighty Mekong River, you will reach Wat Xieng Thong, the most beautiful temple in Luang Prabang. In the large premise, this spiritual monastery comprises chapels and some wats which all are adorned with fine sculptures and carvings and especially the colorful mosaics renown as tree of life. This afternoon, you will embark the local boat and sail to Pak Ou Cave which is famous as the thousand buddha cave as it’s the homage of buddha statues brought by religious devotees. Wake up early this morning and come to a local pagoda to observe the holy rites of Alms Giving. After a chanting, monks and nuns will walk through different streets of Luang Prabang and collect the food from local devotees. By this way, the monk with grant merits to the locals. You then travel back to hotel for relax and have breakfast.

After breakfast at hotel, you will enjoy a half day sightseeing of Kuangsi Waterfalls, a stunning fantasy places of cascade pools with crystal turquoise water. The waterfalls nestle itself in the thick jungle as an ultimate masterpiece of Luang Prabang. Walking up on the trails along layers of water pools, you will find the highest peak; and then possible to have some swimming.

Afternoon is free and easy on your own account.

It's the last day of your Indochina honeymoon journey 17 days. After breakfast at hotel, you will stay at leisure till transfer to Luang Prabang Airport and fly to next destination.
