Plain of jars is a unique area in Xieng Khuang Province of Laos around 260km to the south-east of Luang Prabang. What draw the visitors to Xieng Khuang are the jaw-dropping Plains of Jars of mysterious solid rocks jars in various shapes and sizes scattering over the plateau. The researchers estimate those relics are up to 3,000 years old. Many people believe those jars are likely a part of burial rituals.
