Embark on a full day city touring Hanoi with cultural and historical attractions in the city. You will begin with Tran Quoc Pagoda which is the oldest one in Hanoi constructed in 6th century. Originally located on a dyke that the flood caused its relocation to an ideal peninsula on West Lake nowadays making Tran Quoc a photogenic spot in Hanoi. It's optional to use car or take 15-minute walk from Tran Quoc Pagoda to Ba Dinh Square where you can see the iconic Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum. There is the resting place of Vietnam's greatest president Ho Chi Minh where housing his embalmed body. Sightsee the mausoleum from front, you then have a pleasant stroll and visit the Presidential Palace, the accommodations of Ho Chi Minh President and One Pillar Pagoda.
This afternoon, you will visit the Museum of Ethnology, one of the most interesting museum in Hanoi showing colorful culture from 54 ethnic groups in Vietnam. Next, you will pay a visit to the Temple of Literature in Hanoi renown as the first university of Vietnam. This is an attraction showcases Vietnamese culture and beliefs; and still be a crucial part of local culture these days. Lastly, you will have a walking tour exploring the Hoan Kiem Lake with Ngoc Son Temple and the Hanoi Old Quarter.

Early in the morning, you will set off for a day trip to Hoa Lu, one of the most famous sites of Vietnam for its historical remnants and impressive limestone peaks, which gives it the name “Terrestrial Halong”. There, you will also discover in the heart of the forest the temples of two Dinh kings dating back to the 10th century.
In the afternoon, you will go step onto a sampan to travel to the caves of Tam Coc ("the three lagoons"), nestled in the middle of an aquatic landscape and gigantic rock formations. After the boat ride, you will return to Hanoi to arrive at the end of the day.

Early in the morning, you will travel to Sapa by comfortable limousine bus taking 5.5-hour drive. Upon arriving, you will check in your hotel and have a rest.
This afternoon, you will travel to the Tram Ton Pass for the walk into the nature of Hoang Lien Son National Park and visit the plunging Love Waterfall.

This morning, you will get to the hill-tribe villages in Sapa for a short trek. Begin with a hike to the heart of the Hoang Lien Mountain range. En route, you will get to admire vast rice fields on the terraces with rivers that wind around, a definite feature of the region. The path passes through Y Linh Ho village, giving you a great opportunity to observe the local people in their colorful clothing. The journey will continue along winding paths and offer breathtaking views of the rice fields nestled in the Muong Hoa valley. You will head to Lao Chai before ending the hike at Ta Van.

After breakfast, have free and easy time to chill out at hotel or explore further of Sapa
At around 2pm, you will be picked up by the limousine bus driver at your hotel lobby; and transferred to Hanoi in 5.5-hour drive. Arriving in Hanoi in the evening, you will check-in your hotel and have free & easy time.

Today, you’ll travel 2.5 hours by join-in bus from Hanoi to Halong Bay for the overnight boat cruising on the stunning bay including 1,969 islands and islets of giant rock forming. While the boat set sails toward Halong Bay core area, you will have lunch at the boat's restaurant. Afternoon, you will get to the islands on Halong Bay to go hiking to Halong Bay cave, do kayaking in calm area or taking local wooden boat if you cannot ride the kayak. Return boat when the sun set; you shall enjoy the tea-break as well as chilling on boat before dinner. Remarks: The activities order might be slightly different depending on crew's schedule.

In the morning, there is a Tai Chi lesson available on top deck for you to participate to enjoy the freshness on Halong Bay. After breakfast, you will make stop on other islands on Halong Bay for further expedition and enjoy the nature. The boat then sails toward the mainland in a different route for your further admiration of Halong Bay scenes. Leaving the boat at noon; you travel back to Hanoi city where your driver will welcome you and drive to the airport for your flight to Hue, the ancient capital of Vietnam.
Upon arriving in Hue, you will see your local tour guide and have transfer to your hotel for check-in.

In the morning, you will pay a visit to the majestic Imperial Citadel of Hue, built in 1804 and located along the Perfume River. Remarkable for its fortress-like look and entrenched in the heart of the city, the Citadel occupies a perimeter of more than 10 kilometers. Inspired by the fortifications of Vauban, it is composed of three parts: the capital city (Kinh Thanh), the imperial city (Hoang Thanh) and the forbidden city (Cam Thanh). Although it was largely destroyed in 1968 during the Vietnam War, many endowments are used to restore and revive this invaluable heritage site nowadays. Afterward, take a cruise along the Perfume River to reach Thien Mu Pagoda (Heavenly Lady Pagoda). The boat trip will allow you the opportunity to contemplate the beauty of the local landscape along the riverside, as well as enjoy the breeze of fresh air on the river.
This afternoon, you will traverse through the countryside in Hue for the Minh Mang King’s tomb. The construction of the tomb of Minh Mang began in 1840 during the reign of Minh Mang and was completed by Emperor Thieu Tri, who succeeded him on the throne after his death. You will have a chance to admire its very particular architecture in a charming landscape, with 40 buildings arranged along a 700-meter long axis surrounded by hills, fragrant pines and lakes. Although it is not as large as the tomb of Tu Duc, it will still be able to impress you. Finish the day with relaxing moment on Tam Giang Lagoon to visit a local fishery farm and discover the true charm of the region as you have a chance to learn more about the way locals catch fish. After the boat trip, return to Hue.

This morning, you will travel from Hue to Hoi An by car in 3 hours drive. Make stops on the way to visit the Lang Co Beach and Hai Van Pass.
This afternoon, begin exploring the charming Hoi An, you will discover the old town of Hoi An, a World Heritage Site classified by UNESCO. The originality of the place is a mixture of Vietnamese, Japanese, Chinese and French architectural elements. Along the small streets you will see Chinese houses dated more than two centuries old, the famous Japanese pagoda bridge, a Chinese temple and the house of Tan Ky (which belonged to a rich Vietnamese merchant 200 years ago and has been kept original ever since).

This morning, you will visit the countryside section of Hoi An, you will board a one-hour boat ride along Cam Thanh Coconut village. Thereupon, get back to town for resting.
At an appointed time, you will see your tour guide for the transfer to Da Nang Airport for your flight to Ho Chi Minh City.

Ho Chi Minh City, undeniably is the most modern and vibrant city of Vietnam that make it one of the best things to see and do in Vietnam; also, a city to fulfil your understanding of Vietnam history. This morning, you will head to Cu Chi Tunnels, a must-visit of historical tours Vietnam. The underground systems were digged by the Vietnamese Resistance force during war against French; and then extended further during Vietnam War. Exploring the tunnels 3 to 4 meters (9 - 13 feet) under the ground, you could imagine how the war went on at the time. Afterward, you shall return Ho Chi Minh City centre for lunch.
In the afternoon, you will explore historical sites of Ho Chi Minh City. Visit the War Remnants Museum and learn more about Vietnam War with the exhibitions of US weapons, photos of the war consequences, details of chemical weapons and so on. Then admire the buildings since French colonial buildings like the old Post Office, close-by Notre Dame Cathedral and the walking Dong Khoi Street.
