Upon your arrival, your tour guide will welcome and take you to hotel in Luang Prabang for your check-in. Have free time till rest of the day to get revived from jet lag.
This morning, you will explore the best attractions of Luang Prabang. Beginning with the Royal Palace was built in 1904 and home of King Sisavang Vong. The king statue is still stand outside the museum. Royal Palace in Luang Prabang is now the National Museum housing precious items which formally belong to the Royal family. Also, you can admire the statue of Prhabang Buddha and a large array of statuettes in the premise. Afterward, have a leisure walk to reach the Wat Xieng Thong, the most beautiful temple of Luang Prabang. Laos finest art are on display in this temple as along with a complex of sacred shrines and temples. Next, have a hike up 328 steps to the Phousi Mount peak for a panoramic view of Luang Prabang.
This afternoon, you will travel to Khuangsi Waterfalls which is a must-to-see attraction of Luang Prabang. Right after the entrance, you will catch a sight of a rescue center housing moon bears, an endanger species. There are 23 bears are natured and protected in this sanctuary. Carry on for a while, you will find the mesmerizing giant Kuangsi Waterfalls tumbling down many tiers forming many pools of turquoise water. You can come down and have a refreshing swim or follow the trails to admire the charming waterfalls. Afterward, head back to your hotel in Luang Prabang.
Embark the Luang Say Cruise this morning, you will leave Auberge Calao Pier at 7am. Enjoy the tasty breakfast on the boat and contemplating the Mekong River this fresh morning. After sailing around 1.5 hour, your cruise will reach Pak Ou Cave for a short visit. Also, one of the top things to do in Luang Prabang, Pak Ou Cave plays a significant spiritual role for Laotian. Pak Ou Cave is also naming the cave of thousand buddhas. There are two limestone cliffs upper and lower caves packaged with over 4,000 buddha statues in different shapes and positions like meditating, lying, standing, etc. The boat then keeps sailing and stop at a local village for lunch with delights of Laos cuisine. Finish lunch, the boat will have a stop at Baw hill tribe village where you will get to know the local and the famous Laos whiskey. Before the sun sets, the boat will arrive at Luang Say Lodge near Pakbeng. Chilling out at the lodge, you will have free time to refresh and enjoy the river and its surrounding peaceful scenes.

The breakfast will be served early in the morning when the mountains and river are still in the mist. After breakfast, you will leave Luang Say lodge to Namkat Yorla Pa – a huge ecotourism attraction that is half resort and half adventure park. This place offers one of the most charming and beautiful hotels in all of northern Laos. After around 3-hour pleasant cruising, you will visit Ban Yor pottery and weaving village. You will arrive at Namkat Yorla Pa at noon and have lunch there.
In the afternoon, you will have a lot of choices in choosing activity in the Namkat Yorla Pa resort. Depending on your interest, you can relax and enjoy surroundings of the resort; or book and pay directly to the resort outdoor activities like cycling, trekking, ziplining, rock climbing, visiting Khmu minority village and their organic farms.
After breakfast, you will leave Namkat for Luang Prabang. On the way, pay a visit to Ban Lak 52, a Hmong tribe village in Udomxay. Here, you will get to know more about this minority group, how they organize their village, build houses and so on. At noon, you will reach the pier; and then travel back to your property by cruise’s van. The balance of this day will be on your own leisure.
Early this morning, you will meet up with your tour guide and get to local temple by tuk tuk for an observation of holy Tak Bath ceremony. The local residents prepare devoted food and wait for the monks in saffron robes walk by. You then stroll along local center market before heading back to hotel for breakfast.
At good time, you will meet up with your local guide and travel to Luang Prabang Airport for your flight to next destination.
