Why Mu Cang Chai ?
Mu Cang Chai is a town in the northeast part of Vietnam, comparatively less developed than the rest parts of the country. The rice terrace fields, at most stunning in Sep and Oct, on the mountains of Hoang Lien Son along the city of Mu Cang Chai have been recognized as national landscapes by the Ministry of Tourism of Vietnam. Annually, there are parachute festival in Mu Cang Chai to fly over the terraced rice field. Mu Cang Chai is among the least touristy regions in Vietnam making this place idyllic and charming all year around. There are many local villages with different paths to hike over the hills, spot the houses of minority groups sitting halfway through the valleys, interact with villagers working on their farms, visit local schools, and escape in the marvelous landscape.
