Welcome to Hanoi, the second-largest city and capital of Vietnam, as you begin your 7-day Vietnam travel itinerary. Exploring the culture, cuisine, history, and architecture in Hanoi, you will find the blend of Oriental and Colonial influences that have existed for thousands of years. Besides the busy streets overwhelmed by traffic most of the time, you will find the very quiet and solemn corners to indulge in the elegance and find peace of mind. These values make Hanoi a must-see destination when visiting Vietnam.
Upon your arrival, you will meet your local tour guide and drive to the hotel in the city center for check-in. Have free time till the rest of today to get over jet lag.
Early this morning, you arrive at Thong Nhat Park, a popular spot for locals to exercise, including running, walking, yoga, Tai Chi, and aerobics. You will then meet your Tai Chi instructor and practice privately with her for about 45 minutes to 1 hour. Then head back to the hotel for breakfast and relaxation.
In the afternoon, you will proceed to the Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum, which is the final resting place of our respected president, Ho Chi Minh. You will stop at Ba Dinh Square and cast a view of the Mausoleum from the front to find it in the bold and nice shape of a lotus flower. Also, you will pay a visit to the Presidential Palace and the One Pillar Pagoda. Then, moved to the Temple of Literature or the Confucius Temple, the first university of Vietnam, constructed in 1070. Next, you will traverse a lovely cyclo to the French corners of Hanoi, where the Hanoi Opera House, Metropole Legend Hotel, Vietnam State Bank, and so on. Lastly, you will take an exciting walking tour to get a glimpse of Hanoi's Old Quarter.
This morning, leave Hanoi for Halong Bay, renowned for the marvelous karst islands of nearly 2,000 big and small peaks. Though there is no existence of inhabitants, you can visit caves with very huge cavities, up to 10,000 sqm. The amazing and scenic landscapes of Halong Bay, along with topographic, geographic, and historic values, make it a UNESCO Natural Heritage Site and a must-see destination in Vietnam.
At noon, you will board the overnight cruise and sail to the ocean for the venture exploring Halong Bay. While enjoying the lunch of local fresh seafood, you can feast your eyes on captivating scenes. The cruise itinerary is well designed for travelers to explore Halong Bay through a variety of activities such as kayaking, hiking, and swimming. After the dinner, you will have free time and stay overnight on Halong Bay.
When the sun just appears, you can come up to the top deck to participate in the morning freshness and do Tai Chi martial art with the crew’s instructor. After breakfast, the boat continues its route, giving you more time to enjoy the beauty of Halong Bay. Returning to the mainland early noon, you will disembark the boat and travel to the airport in Hanoi for your flight to Da Nang.
When arriving in Da Nang, your local tour guide will welcome you and escort you to the hotel in Hoi An.
This day will be at your leisure to relax and enjoy the wellness offerings at Almanity Wellness Resort. Your stay at the hotel includes daily yoga classes, sauna and steam, a 60-minute spa treatment, a Tai Chi session, and other wellness activities.
In the morning, you will have a half-day exploring Hoi An Ancient Town on foot with your local tour guide. The old town is atmospheric and culturally rich, with Chinese houses, a Japanese bridge, Fujian communal houses, and other architecture worth admiring. Afterward, you will return to your hotel to relax and enjoy wellness activities.
At leisure until a good time, you will meet your tour guide in the hotel lobby, have a private transfer from Hoi An to Da Nang Airport, and fly to your next destination.
