Embark on your active travel journey in Cambodia, cycling from Phnom Penh to the southern coastal town of Takeo. On the way, there are chances to stop and admire the rice fields, lotus lakes, tranquil rural villages, and the Tonle Bati. Tonle Bati is a very popular lake among the Cambodians who often come for picnics, fishing, and spending time with friends and family. Have lunch at the bamboo huts facing the lake. Arriving in Takeo, you’ll check into the hotel and relax till rest of the day.

From Takeo, you will cycle to Kep, a sleepy province of Cambodia, famous as a seaside region that was a retreat for the French elite in 1908 and, later, for Cambodian high-rollers during the 1960s. This town is now favored by tourists for its peaceful landscape, stunning sunset, abundant seafood, and Kep National Park. The van will take you to the starting point to carry on your venture. En route, stop to admire the pleasant, scenic landscape, interact with local farmers, farms, and the coast, and visit plantations. When you are about to reach Kep, you will visit Phnom Khnork Cave Temple, which houses a pre-Angkorian brick temple dating to the 7th century.

Spend today on Koh Tonsay Island, or “Rabbit Island”, among the most secluded islands in Kep. A short local boat ride will take you to the Island. Pay a visit to this exotic island, enjoy the local authentic dishes of Rabbit Island, unwind, relax, and swim. Have lunch with BBQ seafood. In the afternoon, you will return to the hotel and enjoy some leisure time on your own.
After a leisurely trip to Rabbit Island, you will continue cycling in southern Cambodia today. This morning, visit a Pepper Plantation in southern Cambodia. Pepper is the first product to benefit from the World Trade Organization's Protected Geographical Indication status. You can also walk through the garden, learn about the making process, taste the pepper, and even buy some as a Cambodian souvenir back home.
Afterward, you will hop on your bike and cycle from Kep to Kampot along peaceful trails lined by coconut and palm trees. On the way, you can stop to visit an agricultural plantation and the salt field in the riverside town of Kampot.
This evening, board the sunset cruise along the quiet riverside around Kampot for a relaxing time, indulging in the sunset over the hills.

After breakfast at the hotel, you will have free time at the hotel before heading back to Phnom Penh by local train in 3.5 hours.
