One Day Tour and Sightseeing in Hue

In the morning, you are greeted by your local guide at the hotel lobby for tours and sightseeing in Hue. Drive to the Royal Citadel and the Forbidden Purple City, where the Nguyen Royal family of Vietnam lived from 1802 – 1945, known as the Nguyen Dynasty. The Citadel's outer wall is up to 10km long and surrounded by a wide moat that makes the citadel totally detached from the outside. Despite most of the buildings not being intact due to bombardment, the remaining monuments and rock-moss walls continue to inspire and offer an extraordinary glimpse into Royal court life.
