Welcome to Hanoi, the charming capital and cultural city in Vietnam!
Upon your arrival, you're greeted by your tour guide and then head to a hotel in the city center for resting. Rest of the day will be at your leisure to get rid of jet lag. You will have a lovely welcome dinner at a restaurant which is a colonial building in Hanoi.
After breakfast at the hotel, you will take an excursion to have an insight about Hanoi. You will pay a visit to Ho Chi Minh mausoleum which is located in front of the Ba Dinh Square. This iconic building in Hanoi is the place preserving the embalmed body of the president Ho Chi Minh, one of the most significant figures in gaining independence for Vietnam. In this complex, you also can take a walk to the Presidential Palace, Ho Chi Minh President’s house on stilts and the One Pillar Pagoda. Afterward, you will have a private cooking class to get a true taste of Vietnamese cuisine.
This afternoon, you will visit the Temple of Literature which is the first university in Vietnam. The temple is included with two premises which are the national school for royal students and temple for Confucious. Lastly, you will take a cyclo ride around Hanoi Old Quarter.
Explore the other side of Hanoi this morning with a vintage jeep. The ride reveals authentic corners in Hanoi where you can observe the local lifestyles as well as Hanoi backstreets. This 4-hour touring Hanoi promises a chance to immerse further into Hanoi.
Rest of the day will be at your leisure to chill out at the hotel in Hanoi.
Leaving Hanoi this morning, you will depart for Halong Bay, a UNESCO Heritage Site which is highlighted by thousands of merging karst islands. The boat will sail toward the center core area of Halong Bay, meanwhile you will enjoy the tasty lunch and admire the fascinating scenery. In the afternoon, you will have a short hike to see the huge dry cave on Halong Bay which showcases a lively display of natural stalactites and stalagmites. Thereupon, enjoy leisurely sunset time and overnight on a boat.
Carry on exploring Halong this morning, you will take a bamboo boat ride (or kayaking) to venture to a water lagoon. When returning to the boat, you will carry on the sail to see other parts of Halong Bay. After having lunch on your boat, you will disembark and travel back to Hanoi. Heading to the airport, you will take a domestic flight from Hanoi to Da Nang.
Upon arriving in Da Nang, you are greeted by your local tour guide, and then drive to your hotel in Hoi An to stay overnight. Have dinner at your hotel.
This morning, you will have a pleasant walk in the Hoi An Old Quarter which is a cultural corner preserving the original architectural blend of Asian and European. Stop by the temples by different clans in Hoi An, the museums as well as seeing the Bridge Pagoda. There are boutiques cafes, local shops of tailor made products, leather handicrafts as well as traditional silk products in Hoi An as well.
Afterward, have a short cycling ride through the countryside in Hoi An to Tra Que vegetable village. Enjoy a lunch there with organic vegetables and herbs planted in Tra Que Village. Thereupon, return to your hotel to relax.

After check-out, you will travel to Da Nang Airport for the flight to Ho Chi Minh City. This late afternoon, have a vespa ride to gain a glance of this vibrant city. Ho Chi Minh City, located in the south of Vietnam is the most populated and developed city in Vietnam. This city characterizes a lively atmosphere and hustle lifestyles.
This morning, you will traverse to Cu Chi Tunnels, which is a historical relic in southern Vietnam. This area is a system of underground tunnels used as hiding places, weapon warehouses, kitchens, clinics, etc. The visit to Cu Chi will reveal more knowledge on the main wars in Vietnam which are the War Against the French colonial and Vietnam War.
Returning to the city center, you will see the iconic attractions in Ho Chi Minh including the city Post Office, the Notre Dame cathedral. Then, it’s optional to choose from a visit to the War Remnant Museum to learn more about history in Vietnam, or pay a visit to the Chinatown in Saigon. It’s the largest Chinatown in the world where people of Chinese origin community. You will pay a visit to the Thean Hou Temple and Binh Tay Market in Chinatown.
Today, you are at your leisure at your hotel or have free time for shopping. At an appointed hour, you will see your tour guide and travel to the airport for your flight to the next destination!
