Situated on the Praek Tuek Chhu River and towards the southeast of the Elephant Mountains, Kampot draw the travelers for the relaxing riverside resting. The city has much to offer when it comes to sightseeing, be it with archaeological sites like Phnom Kbal Romeas or quaint monuments like the Durian Roundabout, greenish rice fields, the salt and fruit orchards. More so, with its bicycle tours, river cruises and fishing trips, Kampot has a lot kept in store for experiences. The charm of the French colonial architecture town is much reason as to why people visit Kampot.
